CREATIVE INTENSITY
The second week was marked by a burst of creative energy as we focused on refining our initial ideas and narrowing down a central theme for our installation. Using a variety of brainstorming techniques, we delved deeper into the potential of our three keywords. The ABC method helped us expand our associations with each word, while visual inspiration boards allowed us to explore textures, colors, and forms that could inspire the aesthetic and conceptual aspects of our work. This intensive process pushed us to think beyond the obvious and consider innovative ways to merge our themes.
FINDING THE CONNECTIONS
At first glance, our keywords—slam poetry, animation, and shipbuilder—seemed disparate. However, as we engaged in deeper discussions, underlying connections began to emerge. The dynamic, expressive rhythm of slam poetry mirrored the fluidity and movement of animation, while the structured craftsmanship of a shipbuilder’s work symbolized transformation and resilience. Together, these elements pointed us toward a shared theme of change through collaboration, reflecting not only the nature of our project but also our team’s creative process.
